Greece has once again secured 2nd place worldwide among 51 participating countries in the internationally recognized Blue Flag Program, with 624 awarded beaches, 17 marinas, and 17 tourist boats receiving distinctions this year.
The Blue Flag is one of the world’s most prestigious environmental quality awards for beaches, marinas, and sustainable tourism destinations, recognizing excellent water quality, safety, environmental management, and services.
Halkidiki remains the top regional destination in Greece for awarded beaches, proudly maintaining 93 Blue Flags, confirming its reputation as one of the country’s premier seaside destinations for both tourism and investment.
