Greece’s Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni met with Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Greece, Sultangozhin Timur, to discuss boosting tourism and establishing direct flights between the two countries.

The ambassador highlighted the potential of resuming flights between Heraklion and Almaty, with Minister Kefalogianni expressing strong support for the initiative.

Ambassador Timur also invited the minister to visit Kazakhstan in 2026, aiming to further strengthen cooperation in tourism and investment.
